Hi-Octane Fortnite fun is here with the introduction of a new vehicle into Fortnite’s line up
The Rocket League Octane Car has been added to Fortnite and it’s an absolute blast. I never really played Rocket League as I am not a big football fan but this may change my mind.
One issue I had when first jumping in an Octane was, I couldn’t drive forward, I found out after the match that the forward key is not mapped as default, very odd. Make sure you head to the Fortnite Keybinds and update the keybind under the vehicle Octane section
What is an Octane in Fortnite?
The Octane car has travelled over from Epics Rocket League and is a game where soccer (AKA FootBall) meets fast cars. Its soccer rules but while driving a very fast car that can defy gravity
The car is also very light, turns corners like its on rails but only has 450 HP so wont take much for someone to shoot you down.
Rocket League Octane Fortnite Car
Is the Rocket League car in Fortnite?
Yes, as of the Fortnite Patch v22.40 the Rocket League car has been added to Fortnite. So we now have a Fortnite Rocket League Car that you can scream about in doing jumps, driving up walls and doing stunts
Octane Fortnite Locations Map
Here are all the current locations you will find an Octane parked at.
Rocket League Octane Fortnite Locations

Can I Chrome an Octane in Fortnite
For the ultimate Octane, add a dash of Chrome Splash to it to give your car some regeneration properties. This will help recover from those huge jumps and crazy stunts.
Rocket League Octane Fortnite Car – Chromed
Can I put Off-Road Tires and Cow Catcher on a Octane?
Alas, not! The tires are kind of big anyway and there is nowhere to attach the Cow Catcher too, sad days.
The tires just make a pile next to the car and the Cow Catcher just bounces off.
Fortnite – Paradise Bonus Goals Kicks off with the Fortnite v22.40 patch giving us plenty of new Quests to complete including the continuation of the Paradise Quests, cant see any FREE Items as yet, just some nice XP Bonus. Let’s crack on and see what we find
Paradise Bonus Goals – Await Further orders
You’re going to see this one a lot once you have completed a quest. It merely means that next time you enter Battle Royale you will receive new orders while on the Battle Bus. Sometimes quests can continue in the same Battle Royale though. Just join a new Battle to get the new orders.
These always seem to be Stage 1 of Something and the first part of the quest line

Wow, harvesting tool and a Satellite dish, feels like it’s going break but oh well, This is Fortnite
Track the quest line and check your map, you will have 4 drop locations to select from, you only need to do 3. I would recommend dropping at the west drop point as there is an Octane Car there on the suspended platform and this will make it faster to get to the other locations.
West – On top of the floating platform

Paradise Bonus Goals – Find the approval code at a Research Lab
Fortnite – Paradise Bonus Quests – Find the approval code at a Research Lab
Check the Quest and conform you are still tracking them, then check your map for a drop location. You can choose whatever location suits your play style, but i would recommend a quiet one as you are going to need a little time to find the code on the wall then enter it into the computer.
Locations: Find the approval code
We can find the code (07231) on the walls of the lab, enter these into the computer to complete the quest.

So, we have a new Reality Tree in the making, looks like we’re in for lots more fun yet!
Launch into the air using a Geyser can be fun, in fact ever time I bounce on one the sound effect makes me smile. These quests I normally do right away, land next to one, you’re going to bounce back up into the air and you can use your glider to travel again anyway.
Here are the Locations of the Geysers, marked with Red square in the map.
Geysers Fortnite Locations Map Chapter 3 Season 4
What is a Geyser in Fortnite
Find the Geyser you want to use to complete the quests, either drop near one or plan to run by one. In Chapter 3 Season 3 they are grouped in the bottom left of the map, around the Reality Tree. These are a great launch pad to get you into the air to use your glider, if you need to travel a distance and quickly, its sometimes worth running back towards the storm to get to a geyser as they can launch you a long way.
What is a Geyser Fortnite
How to use a Geyser in Fortnite
Using a Geyser is pretty easy, once you have found one, just stand over it and wait. It will pop and gurgle and make some strange sounds before launching you into the air. They launch every 10 seconds or so.
Launching into the Air using a Geyser Fortnite
Launch into the air using a Geyser
You get launched pretty high, and if you deploy your glider at max hight you can travel quite far. This is a great way to travel and to save some time, especially if the storm is coming and you need to move fast!

Where are The Herald Bonus Goals Locations in Fortnite?
This is what the Fortnite Locations map look like after the v22.30 update. I have listed out the best locations to complete each of the quests below the map.
Fortnite Map v22.30 1st November 2022
The Herald Bonus Goals – Part 1
Damage opponents while Chrome-ified (500) – Reward: Herald Banner Icon
Anywhere on the map you find player, Hot drops are Tilted Tower, Chrome Crossroads and Herald’s Sanctum. Find some Chrome Spashes, chrome up and eliminate some players
Eliminate opponents (10) – Reward: The Heralds’s Leer Spray
Anywhere on the map you find player, Hot drops are Tilted Tower, Chrome Crossroads and Herald’s Sanctum. Drop at one of these for the most action
I found wooden structures the best as they burn easier and faster. Collect some fireflies, drop at northern shore just north east of Shiny Sound, run south collecting fireflies, there are around 7-8 spots just parallel to the river, once you have a stack head to Grim Gables and torch it!
Tame Chrome-ified wildlife (2) – Reward: Squid Thingy
I found the grassy area around Lustrous Lagoon to be the best for animal spawns. Drop at the north side of Shiny Sounds and collect Chrome Splashes, then head to the grassland
The Herald Bonus Goals – Part 2
Destroy objects with the Explosive Goo Gun – Reward: Reality’s Master Emote
Any location is good once you find the Goo Gun. Go wild and distroy some buildings
Eliminate opponents at airborne locations
Track the quest and head for one of the flaoting platfroms. You will need to be on the platfrom when making the elimination, i found the Blimp at Tilted Towers to be best due to other players wanting to talk to the NPC (Cryptic) that is there, and the fact you can hire him also.
Get Chrome-ified while Driving – Reward: Emoticon Chrome-Gratulations
Stage 1 and 2 of 2 – Land at Herald’s Sanctum and place top 10
Easy to finish this one, drop at the Sanctum, grab heals and shield and stay out of trouble untill 10 players are left, grab a Fortnite Whiplash for fast travel
Talk with Characters and deliver The Herald’s Warning
Guaco @ Greasy Grove, ground floor of the diner but they do move about
Panther @ Driftin’ Double Pumps, the floating gas station just south west of Herald’s Sanctum
Cryptic @ The Blimp parked above to Tilted Towers. They are inside but do move about

Fortnite – Skywalker Week Quests
Fortnite Skywalker Week Quests Completed!
All the Fortnite Skywalker Quests completed with just a few hours to spare, but was it worth it? No, not really
I had a laugh with the E-11 Blaster for a while, but that that last 10K Damage felt like a propper grind, with no real reward at the end, i mean, you can get XP anytime anywhere. I wanna see some Quest only StarWards loot! or at least a “Congrats, you completed all the Quests in 1 week” Now go touch some grass
