Dark Age of Camelot – Chat Commands

/afk [message]	Sets character "away from the keyboard." You may also set an optional [message] to display when players try to contact you while AFK.
/asend (or /as)	Sends a message to the alliance chat
/bchat or /bc or /bu or /bb [message]	Sends [message] to your Battlegroup Chat
/broadcast (or /broad or /br)	Broadcasts a message across a wider area
/cg help	Displays all chat group commands
/cg invite [playername]	Invites specified player to the chat group
/cg join [moderator name]	Join a public chat group by name of the moderator
/cg join [moderator name] [password]	Join a private chat group by name of the moderator and password
/cg leader	Declare another member of the chat group as leader; This player can invite other players into the chat group and speak when the chat group is on listen mode.
/cg leave	Leave the current chat group
/cg listen	Puts the chat group on listen mode; only the moderator and leaders can speak
/cg password	Display the current password for the chat group (moderator only)
/cg password [new password]	Sets the password for the chat group
/cg password clear	Clears the current password (moderator only)
/cg private	The chat group is invite or password-only
/cg public	The chat group is public and anyone can join by typing /cg join
/cg remove [playername]	Removes the specified player from the chat group
/cg who	Lists players in the chat group
/chat (or /c or /ch)	Speaks to the chat group
/chatlog	Players may open a chat log to a different filename than 'chat.log'. The extention '.log' is automatically appended to whatever name you choose. Typing '/chatlog pendtest' would create a file called 'pendtest.log' in your camelot directory.
/emote (or /em, or /e)	Lists the available in-game emotes
/group (or /g)	Sends a message to your group
/guild (or /gu)	Sends a message to your guild
/ignore [playername]	Ignores the specified player
/osend (or /o)	Sends a message to officer chat (must be a guild officer)
/psend or /p	Sends a message to your group
/rpfilter [abbreviation] [text]	Allows players to filter out commonly used game terms and abbreviations for any text that he/she wishes. Example: "/rpfilter LFG looking for group" would replace any occurance of "LFG" with "looking for group".
/rpfilteroff	Turns the roleplaying filter off
/rpfilteron	Turns the roleplaying filter on
/say (or /s)	Speak outside of a group or guild in a small radius around your character
/send [playername] (or /tell [playername])	Sends a private message to the specified player
/whisper	Speaks softly in an extremely close range
/yell (or /y)	Yells for help; add text (/yell [text]) to speak in a wider range

Title	Command	Description
Hotbutton	/hotbutton [title]	Use this command to create an empty hotbutton. Add the new button to your hotbar and right-click it to edit it again. You can have up to 5 commands in each hotbutton.
Pausing	/pause [tenths]	Use this command in hotbutton to pause for the given enths of a second (eg: 10 is 1 second). For example:
		/cast 1, /pause 20
		/pause 30, /cast 2
		would cast your spell in slot #1, wait 2 seconds, then cast the spell in slot #2 and wait 3 seconds. It doesn't matter if the pause comes before or after the command...it always takes affect after the command is executed.
Timer	/timer [tenths]	Use this command in a macro to keep the button depressed for the length of the timer command.
Loot Macro	/target a_, /pause 1	This macro will loot most NPC corpses within range. This can be useful if the corpse is inside a wall or otherwise can't be targeted with the mouse.

Corpse Drag Helper	/corpse, /pause 2	While /corpsedrag makes this less useful this macro can still help to manually drag a corpse. The /loc is to help your determine where you lost a corpse if you get out of range.

Buff Macro	/rt	Use this macro to setup easy buffing on the last person to give you a tell. Great for raids to help others keep track of who is buffing what. The two /cast lines are to catch any fizzles on the first cast. Change the chat channel (8), spell slot (2) and messages depending on your own setup./cast 1 (1 being minor healing)

Spell Practice	/cast 1, /pause 25	Casts the spell in your first slot 5 times in a row. You may need to adjust the pause time (25) depending on which spell your casting. This is great for practicing low level spells and you can use a similar method to catch fizzles (use a lower pause).

Range Pulling	/pause 5,/bandolier activate pull	To use this macro create a bandolier set named pull with a ranged item and a set named normal with your regular melee weapons. Target a mob to attack and use this macro to pull.

	/g Spring the trap! %t %o %r are our enemies!
Bard Fade	/g Fading Memories	A helpful macro a Bard can use to quickly fade. You can use a similar macro for many other abilities.

Double Assist	/target [main assist]	Edit the macro with the name of your main group/raid assist or simply leave it blank to use your current target. When used you do a double-assist to see who the target of your main assist is attacking.

User Interface

/load_uisettings	Brings up a dialog with a list of characters. Select a character with the window (UI) laylout you want
/load_uisettings {name}.dat	Loads your user interface settings from the file if you had saved with "/save_uisettings {name}.dat" command before.
/save_uisettings {name}.xml	Saves your user interface settings to a file {name}.xml under your eq2 directory with the named specified. Very useful in case you loose your hotbars look, etc. Tip: If you can name your files combining with your toon name and date, it may be easier for you to switch back to your older profile.
/savehotkeys nameofhotkeysetup	Saves your current hotkey setup to a text file so that you can load it again.
/loadhotkeys nameofhotkeysetup	Loads the hot key setup file you specify.
/load_heroic_ui Class	Loads the heroic hotbars to help returning players adjust to the number of combat arts/spells.

Attacking Commands

/whot {target}	If you target an NPC or monster, it will at least return that the target "is an NPC."
/whotarget {target a PC/NPC}	Will return information on the character (level, race, guild, etc - unless /Anonymous).

Combat Logs

/combat_filter <filter#> works
This command will turn on server-side filtering of combat data.
Filter #’s:
0 => None (same as before the patch)
1 => Self (you will only get combat messages for yourself/your pet)
2 => Group
3 => Raid

resets after zoning, run command again in new zone. Try “/combat_filter 1” to reduce lag

Looting Commands

/setautolootmode 0	Sets Auto-Loot mode for your character.
	0 = None
	1 = Greed or Accept
	2 = Decline
/summon_chest	Summons all nearby treasure chests that are yours to you.
